The Foundation’s main goal is to provide educational, sporting and social opportunities for disadvantaged young people in the UK.

Our aim is to target grants where they will have a direct and significant impact on the lives of those we are trying to help.

How We Work

The Alex Roberts-Miller Foundation is a registered charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

Our extremely low overheads (less than £300 last year) are more than covered by income from an endowment - so 100% of the donations we receive will go to charitable causes.

Also, if you are eligible for Gift Aid, every £ you donate can be boosted by 25p from the taxman, so 125% of your donation could go to charitable causes!

We do not make grants to individuals. Instead we provide funds to carefully selected charities to sponsor projects or causes we support.  To see who has benefitted, go to the Grants page.

Most of our income comes from individual donations and from fund-raising events (organized by the Foundation or by its supporters).  We are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported the Foundation in any way.
