Drive Forward

Each year around 10,000 young people leave the care system across the UK.  A third of them over the age of 19 are "NEET" (not in employment, education or training) which is more than double that of their peers.

Drive Forward Foundation works with care leavers aged 16 to 26 years to develop the key skills, confidence and motivation which enable them to move into work, education or training.  Through a mix of one-to-one support, employability skills training, direct links to employers and in-work mentoring, Drive Forward helps them to take charge of their futures and make their career aspirations a reality.  Our grants have supported this work.
