CCHF All About Kids

For more than 130 years, the Children's Country Holiday Fund, now renamed “CCHF All About Kids”, has been offering breaks away from London to socially excluded children from low income families.

"These are not children of uncaring parents but of ones caught up in the poverty trap of inner city life: children of mentally or physically sick parents, of unsupported mothers or fathers coping alone . . . every year many such children are whisked away from their concrete world, to be given respite and a taste of what other children enjoy and, perhaps, take for granted."

Between 2005 and 2016 we have made several grants to CCHF, each aimed at boosting the number of disadvantaged children aged 7 to 11 years who can go on their activity breaks.
